Healthy snacks for late night hunger pangs

Peanut butter

Having whole grain crackers with a tablespoon of peanut butter is a good bedtime snack. Two tablespoons of unsalted peanut butter contain 188 calories. It will provide eight grams of proteins and 1.9 grams of fiber. Having peanut butter before bed will make you feel satiated and help you get a sound sleep.


Reach into that jar and grab a fistful of nuts which will give you enough protein, fiber and fat to keep you fuller and help you sleep better.

Dried figs

Three or four of the chewy, candy-like fruit should do the trick.

Dark chocolate

The darker the better. Chocolate made with at least 70% cacao contains less sugar and more antioxidants than its milky cousin. Makes a healthy late night snack.

Yes bhel is a light and healthy snack. Add some kurmura, tomatoes and onions and a dash of chaat masala. Skip the deep fried sev for healthier snack.
